Happy Wednesday! 🙂
I wanted to quickly pop in and show you guys what I got in my October Artsnacks box. I’ve been using it for many illustrations, and showing it non stop on my instagram

Unboxing 🙂
The October box is one of my favorite Artsnacks boxes that I’ve gotten so far. All the contents are perfect for Inktober (which as usual I’m doing in my own style, meaning: not following any prompts. I just sketch using ink whatever I feel like sketching. As long as it’s October and it involves ink, it’s ok).
#Artsnackschallenge:

These are all the contents I got in my October box, and I created her using all of them. I’m digging her hair color!

I also created this Valentino-clad vampire, because Halloween. The cupcake is Red Velvet 🙂
I’ve copied below what the Artsnacks Menu specifies for this box, so you can learn more about each item (my comments are in italics).
Kuretake Bimoji Fude Brush Pen
ArtSnacks Exclusive Limited Edition
In this month’s box, we’ve included a special edition Kuretake Bimoji Fude Brush Pen imported all the way from Japan, just for ArtSnackers! It’s no coincidence bimoji means “beautiful letters” in Japanese – with its comfortable rubber grip and durable felt tip, this brush pen was made for lettering. It lends the user complete control, so each pen stroke appears exactly as expected. This unique pen comes in ten different patterns – which one did you get? I looooove this pen so much! It’s soooo cute! Favorite item!
Sakura Classic White Gelly Roll Pen
Everyone’s favorite gel pen just got an upgrade! Sakura has perfected the smooth ink flow technology of their Classic White Gelly Roll Pen to now offer new sizes – 0.5mm and 1.0mm (fine and bold). Whether you received the fine or bold tip in your box, you can use it for either small details or large, prominent marks. The opaque white ink stands out beautifully on dark and colored paper, as well as makes highlights pop in illustrations. Love love love. I’ve had other brands of white pens that I used as a highlighter before, but this is my go to now! ( I got the 05 one)
Amsterdam Acrylic Marker, 2mm
Perfect for mixed media applications, the Amsterdam Acrylic Marker lets you work quickly and directly on a variety of surfaces. It features water-based, pigmented ink that’s waterproof and permanent when dry. The 2mm round nib allows you to draw on a smaller scale, however, broad washes are also achievable by mixing some water with the ink on a palette and applying it to your art surface with a brush. I got mine in Azo yellow deep.
Marabu Graphix Colour Fineliners, Skyline
New Product Whether you’re jotting down quick sketches on the go or creating outlines for a masterpiece, Marabu Graphix Colour Fineliners will help you get your ideas on the page. This set includes four different brilliant colors: ruby red, ultramarine blue, dark green, and black. Each pen features lightfast, water-based pigment ink and a durable, metal- enclosed 0.5mm plastic nib. Love this set!! My fave is the red pen.
I already ate the sour punch thingie. Sour gummies are my favorite! yum
