Happy Sunday, darlings!
Last week was a whirlwind. First, I got to spend the weekend in NYC observing the latest fashion trends and acquainting myself with the new Hudson Yards mall. Then, upon returning to Miami I worked every possible hour updating my Etsy shop and putting the finishing touches on client commissions. Last, but not certainly not least, on Thursday I went to Boca Raton to illustrate live for my dream client, Dior โฅ_โฅ Somebody pinch me!
The Dior team contacted me to illustrate their guests at the special Triple Points event that Saks Boca Raton was hosting.
I met and sketched so many wonderful Dior clients throughout the four hour event. All the guests were thrilled to be turned into fashion illustrations and have a memento of the event, the latest Dior collections, and their purchases of the day.
The Dior team and I agreed on watercolors being the most fitting media for the custom sketches.
The main focus was on the Fall 2019 collection, but some elements from the Cruise collection and Spring Summer were incorporated.

I added gold details to the sketches to represent the metallic hardware of the bags.

I had a great time at the event, I’m beyond thankful for this opportunity, and I’m super excited to see what cool projects the future holds for me.
